The kick-off meeting of the project team was held on Friday, March 13th, at the Institute for Adriatic Crops in Split. The collaborators gathered in Split, and those who could not attend the meeting “in person” attended via video link. The project leader presented the project, its objectives, research methods and expected results. The detailed research plan and the activities of the collaborators on the project were discussed. The key phases for the successful implementation of the project and potential risks were also defined.
Promotion of the launch of Inter-Omics project
At the science‑popularization event held as part of the project “Science Comes to Town” in Diocletian’s Cellars, we presented the launch of the project “Decoding interplay between grapevine pathogenic and beneficial microorganisms using multi-omics approach: From transcriptome to metabolome”
Through an interactive format, we introduced the public—especially younger audiences—to the importance and biodiversity of microorganisms that coexist with grapevine, as well as the ways in which they can shape the plant’s life and health.
In this way, the public was engaged through education and entertainment and introduced to the main goals that our scientific team will achieve within the InterOmics project.
